Service Description

This course is designed for all individuals who want to learn how to recognize the most common first aide emergencies and their lifesaving skills, how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation including the use of an AED on an adult and infant. The CPR/AED is the most basic CPR course compared to BLS AND ACLS. In this course, the following First Aid topics are covered: • Amputations • Bee stings • Bloody noses • Cuts • Diabetes • Fainting • Poisoning • Seizures In this course, the following CPR/AED topics are covered: • What cardiac arrest is • The causes of cardiac arrest • How high-quality CPR improves survival • Main components of CPR • Recognize when someone needs CPR • Perform single rescuer high-quality CPR including chest compressions, AED and rescue breaths for an adult/child and infant (infant only included if correct package purchase) • Team dynamics-perform multiteam CPR including chest compressions, AED and rescue breaths for an adult/child and infant (infant only included if correct package purchase) • Choking relief for adults • Opioid Treatment
