Basic Life Support (BLS)

Service Description

The BLS course is designed for those who work in direct patient care environments such as the healthcare industry (doctors, nurses, nursing students, EMTS, dentist, pharmacist, etc.). Medical professionals are required to remain in good standing for this course. Although designed for healthcare professionals, anyone is welcomed to take the BLS course. The following topics will be covered: • The cardiac arrest is • The Causes of Cardiac Arrest • How high-quality CPR improves survival • Main components of CPR • Recognize when someone needs CPR • Out-of-hospital chain of survival • In- hospital chain of survival • Adult BLS algorithm for healthcare providers • Perform single rescuer high quality CPR including AED and rescue breaths for Adults/Children/Infants • Team dynamics- perform multiteam CPR including AED and rescue breaths for Adults/Children/Infants • Choking relief for Adults/ Children/ Infants • Opioid Treatment
