  • Difference between traditional, virtual, blended, blended 1, and blended 2?
    Traditional: Both the lecture and skills portion are instructor lead and taught in-person in a classroom setting. Virtual: Both the lecture and skills portion are instructor lead and taught virtually through a Zoom link. Blended Option: Lecture portion is instructor led and taught virtually through a Zoom link. The skills portion is taught in-person in a classroom setting. Heartcode (Blended) Option 1: One of our more expensive courses because it includes an AHA course. The Lecture portion is a computerized course and can be completed at your own pace. The skills portion is taught in-person in a classroom setting. Heartcode (Blended) Option 2: Our most expensive course because it includes an AHA course. The Lecture portion is a computerized course and can be completed at your own pace. The skills portion is taught virtually through a Zoom link.
  • Ecard Access
    Using www.heart.org/cpr/mycards will give you continuous access to and verification of your ecards.
  • Pay for a Course
    If taking one of our traditional courses, payment can be made in person. If taking one of our blended or online courses, payment must be made through a secure platform such as Zelle.
  • Difference between Heartsaver CPR AED and BLS?
    Heartsaver CPR AED: Not expecting 2 person rescue so there is no pulse checks No Ambu bags (bag masks) Teaching child and infant are optional. When child and infant are Taught, the certification card will say child and infant and not adult because adult is required for an Instructor to teach the class. Here at United for Health, our CPR/AED course always included child and infant even though they are optional. No exams BLS: Advance version of CPR/AED, usually required for certain careers. All that stuff listed above is required including child and infant. Child and infant in BLS do not stay at 30:2; it switches to 15:2 during a 2 person rescue.
  • Process After Course Completion
    Ecard will be issued 24-72 hours after completing this course. You will receive an email notification confirming that your ecards are ready to be claimed. Simply follow the link provided in the email to verify your information, or set up a new account and complete a brief survey about your training experience. Once these steps are completed, you can instantly access your ecard. You can download, print, or email your ecard at your convenience, ensuring you have access to it anytime you need. United for Health strive for same-day processing, but please note that occasional delays may occur and processing could take up to 3 days.

    Cardiac Arrest can be caused by several things: Heart Attack Opioid Overdoes Arrhythmias- without rhythm Dysrhythmias- abnormal rhythm

    Our most affordable course are traditional course.

    Our most expensive course are our blended 1 and 2 because they include a computerized lecture directly from American Heart Association.
  • What does HS stand for?
    HS (listed in some of our courses) stands for Heartsaver
  • When does my CPR certification expire?
    All of our certifications expire every 2 years. This means you will need to take one of our renewal courses before your certification expires.
  • When using AED, always remember:
    No sweat- wipe dry No shirt/need direct contact with skin- remove No hair- shave No medical patches under pads No implanted pacemakers or defibrillators No large amounts of water under victim- small puddles are okay.
