  • What are your pay rates?
    An employee is compensated based on an individuals title, experience, level of competency, and employment location of assignment.
  • What is the hiring process?
    1. Application 2. Interview 3. Screenings 4. Paperwork submission 5. Testing 5. Start picking up shifts
  • Are employees required to work a certain number of hours/shifts to remain active with United for Health?
    Employees are required to work a minimum of 40 hours per year to remain in good standing with United for Health. If an employee does not meet the following requirement, they will have to reapply and start the onboarding process completely over again.
  • How does timecards work?
    Timecards are to be filled out completely and accurately. You may use the same timecard for the pay period even if you are assigned to different facilities. There is a space for each facility representative to sign. In order for payroll to be processed, all signatures must be obtained. Timecards must be faxed 1-502-906-2618 or emailed (hcs@joinunitedforhealth.com) to United for Health by Monday, 11:00am of each week. If timecards are not sent by Monday, 11:00am, payroll for that week will be delayed until the following payroll. Please be sure to submit your timecards on time. If you would like to confirm your fax or has been received, call 1-855-262-2052 and we will be glad to assist you.
  • How does payroll work?
    Our payroll is weekly. It begins Monday 7:00am and ends Sunday 7:00am. Payday is Wednesday of each week.

  • What is a traveler?
    A traveler is a healthcare professional who accepts temporary assignments on a contract basis. Travelers enjoy the freedom to control their schedule, choose their preferred locations and facilities.
  • Who Can Apply for Travel Assignments?
    Anyone, as long as your have the license, qualifications/credentials, skills, and atleast 2 years of experience for the job your are applying for. Travelers must be licensed in every state in which they practice. Multi-state licensure is available via the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), Which allows nurses who are residents of one NLC state to practice in all NLC states. (Please refer to the NCSBN website for a complete list of NLC states, states awaiting implementation, and states in which NLC legislation is pending.)
  • How Long Are Travel Nursing Assignments?
    The standard travel nursing assignment is 13 weeks. Assignment length can be negotiated.
